The New Zealand Alpine National Slalom Championships were held at Coronet Peak today, the official ski area partner of the New Zealand Alpine Ski Team. Olympian Adam Barwood (Queenstown) would be looking to defend the national title which he has held since 2012.
Blue skies, sunshine and hard packed powder greeted racers today for day one of the New Zealand Alpine National Championships & Coronet Cup hosted by Coronet Peak, the official ski area partner of the New Zealand Alpine Ski Team.
